Configuration Manager/Install a Reporting services point
Overview
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is a powerful reporting solution for SQL Server that helps you create, deploy, and manage reports for your organization. The Reporting services point of Configuration Manager uses SSRS to query the database and display reports, subscribe and email reports, and export reports in different kinds of popular formats. In addition, you can create custom report models to meet the needs.
Prerequisites
- The account used to operate must have an appropriate security role to perform the site server.
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) installed and configured.
Start the wizard

Open the Configuration Manager console and go to the Administration → Site Configuration → Servers and Site System Roles.
Right-click a site and select Add Site System Roles.

If this site server requires a specified installation account, specify it in Site System Installation Account section.
Click Next to proceed.
Specify a proxy server

If the site server needs a proxy to connect to the Internet, configure the proxy here.
Configure the Reporting services point

- Site database server name
- The database server and instance used by the current site are automatically filled in here.
- If needed, reenter the server name and instance name.
- Database name
- The database used by the current site is automatically filled in here.
- If needed, reenter the database name.
Click Verify to verify the connection.
- Folder name
- Specify the folder name to create and use for Configuration Manager reports in Reporting Services.
- Reporting Services server instance
- Select the instance of SQL Server.
- Configure SSRS for the instance first.
- Reporting Services Point Account
- Specify an account that has permission to connect to the site database.
